International tax Internship

Desired start date: Summer 2016

Desired duration: 2 months (spread over a couple of months)

Internship Profile:

As part of the UPS Europe Tax team you will help us on the various tasks of the tax department, i.e. international tax, Belgian/Luxembourg tax, withholding taxes, compliance, transfer pricing, etc.

You will assist the team by preparing the work for the Belgian and Luxembourg corporate income tax returns and the completion of various tax forms in various countries.

You will be in touch with the local finance managers in our countries across the Europe Middle East and Africa Region as well as our shared service centers.

Depending on your skills and performance, there is the opportunity to take over parts of the work on your own.

This internship is unpaid and is offered to students only.

 Inquisitive personality; strong desire to learn; ability to probe effectively  Strong numerical, analytical and conceptual skills; logical thinker;  Structured approach; process-oriented; able to prioritize  High degree of accuracy; eye for detail; accountable  Solid communication skills; accounting skills is a plus;  Sufficient level of English is required;  Preferably a student in a tax specialization course
