TIFIE TO DELIVER 1,000 SOLAR LIGHTING KITS TO JAPAN

TIFIE Humanitarian, a Utah-based international organization, is donating 1,000 lighting kits and solar panels to families in Japan who are without power as a result of the recent earthquake and tsunami.

The individual power kits, in partnership with GOAL ZERO, will consist of one Escape 150 power pack, one Boulder 15 panel, and two three-watt lights. The kits are charged through solar light and will provide 40 hours of light off a 15-hour charge. The equipment provides enough energy to power lights, laptops, radios and cell phones. The retail value of the donation is $459,000.

In addition, TIFIE is providing an opportunity for concerned citizens to donate to this humanitarian project by visiting its website at: www.tifie.org/japan and making a donation in any amount. TIFIE Humanitarian is a 501(c) 3 and is working with its key partners, both in the United States and in Japan, to distribute and deliver the product directly to homes affected.
