The kits are charged through solar light and will provide 40 hours of light off a 15-hour charge. The equipment provides enough energy to power lights, laptops, radios and cell phones. The retail value of the donation is $459,000.</p><p>In addition, TIFIE is providing an opportunity for concerned citizens to donate to this humanitarian project by visiting its website at: www.tifie.org/japan and making a donation in any amount.
