Q-200 Aircraft Detail in Photos

Q-200 Aircraft Detail in Photos The Quickie Aircraft Company construction plans left a lot to be desired. When I was building my aircraft, I was always trying to figure out how any particular doodad was supposed to look. One of the best sources I used was looking at other aircraft. The C-150 was very helpful while trying out how to do a reliable engine installation. On this page I am supplying photos so you can see some of the things I did. If you have questions, please e-mail me and I'll see if I can help. Also if you want to see a particular view, let me know and I may be able to add it.

Big Disclaimer!!! Please realize that these photos do not necessarily show the best way to build your aircraft. In fact, they aren't even a reccomendation of the best way to procede. If I was going to build it over, there are many things I would change. Some of the workmanship is sloppy and the aircraft is showing signs of repairs and age. They are simply intended to show an installation that works for me and perhaps this will give you an idea as to how things might look when you are done.

Another good source of photos is Mike Dwyer's site. Mike made a splendid photo record of his project.
