Prayer of Invocation Based from Isaiah 6:1-8

Prayer of Invocation based from Isaiah 6:1-8

In this hour, may we see the Lord seated on a high and lofty throne; may His robe fill this place of worship. May the seraphim stand above Him, calling to one another: “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of Hosts; his glory fills the whole earth.” Let the foundations of the doorways shake at the sound of their voices, and let this temple be filled with smoke.

When all this happens, our response will be: “Woe is me, for I am ruined, because I am a person of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips. I realize this because my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.”

May one of the seraphim fly to me with a glowing coal that he had taken from the altar with tongs. Let him touch my mouth with it and say: “This has touched your lips, and your wickedness is removed, and your sin is atoned for.”

If in this hour, when we hear the voice of Lord saying: “Who should I send? Who will go for us?” -- let us gladly say: “Here I am. Send me.”
