The Ladies have no right to spend any money raised for the RSL nor any auxiliary only the sub-Branch has the right to spend the monies. Treasurer added one of the things I was going to raise, spoke to ladies treasurer at length with monies raised and funds in term deposit and operating with and shirts. If funds are not available then no money should be given out to the Men’s Team. Following this I suggested that all monies that the ladies have at this time should be returned to the CMC to be dispersed by the CMC back to the ladies when needed for raffles and any other items needed. The ladies still to work for the support of their men. Moved Ladies to return all funds to CMC and continue to work with the support of the CMC if funds needed to hold raffles.  Zone 8 Forster Bowling Club was the venue for the annual Pork trot day where hams and pieces of pork are the main attraction along with friendship and bowl’s. Forster Bowling Club President Alby Dean welcomed all 108 bowlers and supporters then handed the club over to Zone 8 President Charles Fisher who recited the Ode, he then welcomed 3 new bowlers to the Zone and several players returning from illness. Players took to the greens and as this was our last social day before Presentation day in December and also the last chance for bowlers to take out the bowler of the year award several games were “reasonably” serious but still played in a light hearted manner. With bowlers leaving the green at 1230pm it was straight to the dining room for a Chinese smorgasbord and some well earned refreshments. Presentation time and the winners were. Bob Hokin. Bob Northey.. Steve Knott // Jack Pollock. Steve Ryan.. Alan White // Brian Harris. Col Lambert. John Morton, well done guys.  ZONE 19 REPORT19 ZONE 19 REPORT Our Zone 19 Pairs champions of Len Softley and Tony Evans travelled to North Mead Bowling Club on 13th October to participate in the State semi final against Zone 6. Unfortunately we lost, but again there is always next year. A total number of 12 members made an inter club visit on 23rd October to Thirroul Bowling Club to participate in their annual Diggers Day. It was a great day for all and managed to enlist a couple of more members to Zone 19. A large contingent of Zone 19 members travelled to Zone 1 at Grandview Bowling Club on 27th October, to play for the annual Gordon Etheridge trophy. Zone 19 won the day by 1 shot to win the trophy. Company and fellowship was the actual winner. Looking forward to 2017. 12 Zone 19 members travelled to Nowra for a visit with Zone 20 on 8th November, to participate in their annual Diggers Day. Again fellowship was the winner. Several members won prizes in the raffle and so went home smiling. The bi-monthly Zone 19 meeting was held on 17th November. It was agreed that at our next social day be on 15th December. The format would be the Will Simpson singles challenge followed by a BBQ to celebrate Christmas. Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year for all in the State RSL Bowls movement.  Zone 20 nil

GENERAL BUSINESS B Williams voiced his concern that I came here today to play a game of bowls against two clubs. This afternoon four Krantz players were not playing a game. I think it was wrong for these players to be on the bank. Due to reserves and other members needed to play these men for selection purposes, we felt the reserves needed a run to be a part of the team. Bruce Hardman if anyone requires one of the bucket hats come and see him, Interzone is at Urunga in February 2017. A short time ago I was asked to approach Graham Green who is Chairman of Burwood RSL in regards to sponsorship for the State Side did enforce not for Accommodation or travel, but for shirts he would require a letter for Two Years at Five Thousand a year and would push for 2020. He may be able to sud-out a sleeve. He was reasonably acceptable to the idea with the board is mostly ex-service and bowlers happy to accepted a letter on this matter. Ian Callaway some of the sponsorship and new boy on the block we only have income from our Championships, Affiliation Fees Zone 11 has its problems, Zone 3 have a small number all of those things contribute to our Bank account. When you look at our prize money of $3600.00 and honorarium $1300.00 you are knocking on the door of $5,000.00 which you have to find before we start. Looking at Affiliation fees and Championships at the AGM. Looking down the track in 2020 we need to have 70-80,000.00 for our carnival. Looking at CDSE through your clubs to find some funding. This has to come back to the public. Will look at CDSE from club Burwood this year. Zone 5 has all our clubs affiliated with the RSL and we hold a bowls day at each club and they return our Green Fees and Raffles to us. We need to give back to the CMC State Body some money from each Zone. Would the Zones look at a Day for the CMC. John Black CUA investment due 17th December 2016 Moved Sec. we roll over for best term. Cd.

They’re being no further business the meeting closed at 18.15hrs Next meeting to be held on the 24th January 2017 at Club Burwood at 10.30 John Black ------Terry Starr John Black State President Hon. State Secretary
