Potomac Falls Marching Panthers October 18, 2014 USSBA Marine Corp Invitational U.S. Naval Academy – Marine Corp Memorial Stadium, Annapolis, MD

 Eat breakfast!!!  Bring money for a concessions lunch!!!

Friday Evening 10/17/2014 We will load the truck after the game on Friday night. No garment racks.

Saturday 10/18/2014 NO REHEARSAL IN THE MORNING  8:00am Arrive at school – get into uniform (black shoes/socks, bibs, 2014 MB band shirt, gloves, and stadium jacket). Put your street clothes in your locker. Garment bags will be loaded with performance jacket, hat, plume. We will travel wearing stadium jacket, bib pants (gloves in your pocket), 2014 MB band shirt, and black shoes/socks. You bring your garment bag on the bus. 8:30am Chaperone parents arrive 8:50am Depart for Annapolis (Three buses this time) 10:20am Arrive at Annapolis / Naval Academy /Marine Corps Memorial Stadium Unload, set-up, get dressed, warm-up, and move to the on deck location. 12:00pm PERFORMANCE We will return to the buses/truck to put away all our stuff. Move fast and efficiently – WE’RE HUNGRY!!! Stadium jackets or the band shirt must be your outer wear at all times (so we can more easily identify you at a distance). DMs, Percussion, and Guard Captains need to have their uniforms (wear it or carry it in a bag and go change) for awards. 12:45pm Return to the stadium as a group and sit together. Once we’ve all seen one band show together you will be dismissed to visit concessions for lunch. 2:00pm Awards – Everyone back in their seats! (DMs, Percussion, and Guard Captains will be called down – listen to be called) After awards we will return to the buses while Mr. N and the staff go to judge’s critique. 3:15pm Pull out for PFHS (earlier/later depending on when the staff returns and we’re all loaded) 4:45pm Approximate arrival at PFHS Put away equipment, instruments and uniforms, brief meeting. 5:30pm Approximate dismissal.

 Wear your 2014 marching band shirt throughout the trip

For those coming out to support the performance, admission is $20 at the gate. Mr. Niebergall has advance tickets that can be purchased directly from the PFHS Band. By purchasing from us, we get to keep a few dollars for every ticket we sell. By purchasing tickets we can keep the entry fees down so please consider simply buying a ticket as a way of donating to the event even if you can’t go. Give your favorite band member $20 per ticket and they will pick-up/deliver the tickets to you!
