Proceedings of Sixth International Conference on CFD in the Oil and Gas, Metallurgical & Process Industries ('Publication')

1 Subject to the following paragraphs, the Author hereby assigns all right, title and interest throughout the world in and to the copyright in the print and electronic forms of the Work to the Publisher.

2. The Author confirms that the above list of authors fairly conforms to academic conventions on attribution of authorship.

3. The Publisher grants to the Author an irrevocable, perpetual, royalty-free, non- exclusive licence to: (a) reproduce the Work provided that the Publisher’s copyright in the Work is acknowledged; (b) reproduce, perform, transmit and otherwise communicate the Work to the public in spoken presentations (including those which are accompanied by visual material such as slides, overheads and computer projections); (c) adapt the Work and to reproduce or authorise others to reproduce adaptations of the Work for any purpose other than for the commercial publication of a work which is substantially identical to the Work; and (d) reproduce any Abstract of the Work for any purpose provided that any such reproduction includes or is accompanied by a reference to the Work as published by the Publisher.

4. The Publisher acknowledges and agrees that the Author: (a) retains all of the Author’s rights, including copyright in and to all Research Data; and (b) may re-use, publish and reproduce the Research Data without any further consent or licence from the Publisher provided that such use, publication or reproduction: (i) does not substantially repeat or imitate the textual expression of the Work (except as permitted by 3 above or any fair dealing or fair use permitted by law); and (ii) a reference to the Work as published by the Publisher is included.

5. If the Publisher rejects the Work for publication or has not published the Work in the Publication in accordance with this Agreement within twelve (12) months after the date of this Agreement, all assignments and licences of rights to the Publisher set out in this Agreement cease.

6. This is the entire agreement of the parties in relation to its subject matter.

7. The Norwegian law governs this Agreement and the parties irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of Oslo, Norway.

8. Definitions:

"Abstract" in relation to the Work means a short summary of the Work.

"Research Data" in relation to the Work means all information in or associated with the Work other than the text of the Work, and includes all information of a scientific nature such as observations, extrapolations, mathematical or other relationships, qualitative characteristics and ideas, together with all modes of representing such data (other than the text of the Work) such as tables, compilations, figures, symbols, photographs, drawings, diagrams, maps, charts, illustrations, computer programs and gene sequences.

"Work" means the work referred to above including any Abstract of the work produced by the Author and submitted to the Publisher for publication.

9. Any notice, request or other communication in relation to this Agreement shall be sent by prepaid post to the following addresses:
