Please also attach a job description, organizational chart, and position justification. SSFC bylaws require that the requesting organization meet with the Budget & Personnel Director prior to submitting the SSFC Funding Application.

Department Authorization: As the supervising University department, we agree to supervise the permanent staff position described above. In the role of supervising department, we understand that we will be responsible for the hiring and supervision of the employee. We also understand that if this position and funding are approved by SSFC, the allocation of salary and fringe benefit will be transferred to our department to administer. (Please note that SSFC bylaws requires a representative from the supervising department to be present at the annual eligibility and/or funding hearings to respond to any committee questions.)

SSFC Statement of Agreement: The SSFC and the University unit agree that all State, University, and Departmental personnel policies apply to the professional position(s) funded by GSSF monies. By funding this position through student fees and by sponsoring a University employee these costs and liabilities must be covered through student fees with the consultation of the SSFC Chair and in some cases the body of the SSFC.
