Janssen a well known public speaker on Green subjects such as “Greening Your Life and Your Business” also serves FGBC as State Co-Chair of the Government Green Standards Committee. The Florida Green Building Coalition “FGBC” was conceived and founded in the belief that green building programs will be most successful if there are clear and meaningful principles on which "green" qualification and marketing are based. FGBC is a membership-based organization governed by the Board of Directors and Corporate Officers who are elected by vote of the general membership. There was strength in numbers in Orlando at the FGBC annual meeting and trade show event which attracted over 16,000 participants to the Orange County Convention Center.

Their products are capable of saving up to 100% on a buildings water use and related water and sewer charges while also providing additional significant savings in both water heating and maintenance costs. Ecotech products consistently offer improved performance over other typical low consumption bathroom fixtures on the market. Ecotech has recently been highly recognized and nationally publicized for their New Revolution Zero Water Consumption Commercial Buildings.

Ecotech has also received national acclaim for their “Green” focus on Environmental and Global Warming issues with packaging to cut transportation emissions, biodegradable and recyclable packaging, non-changeable waterless urinal cartridges, replacement parts recycle program and specifying Hybrid Trucks on all shipments

The crisis over the shortage of potable water is now occurring in the US and other parts of the world. Ecotech’s “Water Conservation” technology is aggressively addressing this problem. With increased worldwide population and the resulting demands for new development the supply of potable water might very well become the new “oil” of the 21st century.

Janssen, stated: “when a total retrofit is completed using Ecotech products they can shut the water off”. He was referring to building retrofits completed with the Ecotech Water Conservation Program that includes capturing rainwater and air conditioning condensate water. “In a normal year, the building would need no outside water from a well or city water” Janssen further stated. “In other words they (the end user) will not need to take any water from the aquifer”.
