The Conference Workshops are to be educational, not to promote any specific products. Exhibit Booth space is available for all promotional activity. Proposals are reviewed by the Greater North Shore Link Conference Planning Committee, based on Completion of the Proposal Submission Form, Relevance to the Conference Theme & Topics of Interest for 2016, Content and the Expertise and Speaking experience of the presenter. Sessions will be one hour, including Q&A. Individual Presentation – Proposals for an interactive conference workshop must be completed on the attached Proposal Submission Form and submitted electronically to Patricia Cox at: [email protected]. Panel Presentations – Proposals for an interactive Workshop Panel of up to three individuals will be considered. The panel coordinator must complete the attached Proposal Submission Form and submit it electronically to Patricia Cox at: [email protected]. Topics of interest sought for the 2016 Conference Workshops are:
1. Visual & Audio deficits 2. Transportation 3. Caregiving 4. Mental Health 5. Adaptive Equipment/Home Modifications 6. Mobility 7. Balance/Falls 8. Chronically Unemployed 9. Substance Abuse
1 Proposal Form must include all requested information to meet CEU eligibility criteria. Workshop Schedule – The conference will have two sets of four one-hour concurrent Workshop Sessions. The first session will be from 10:15 AM to 11:15 AM; the second session will be from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The Conference Planning Committee will assign timeslots. Submission: The Proposal Submission Form must be submitted electronically. Submit application to Patricia Cox at: [email protected], no later than Friday, May 20, 2016. Response: All applicants will receive a response by Friday, July 1, 2016.
