The Foster Home system is not a prelude to adoption of your foster dog. Will you help to screen and interview perspective adopters when the time comes? I agree that I will not initiate or participate in any claim, lawsuit, or administrative proceeding against Papillon Haven Rescue or its officers, in connection with any damages that may be caused by a dog in my care from biting, scratching or otherwise causing injury to myself, any other person, or any other pets or property.

Do you FOSTER for other rescue groups? Who? If so, you will be required to inform PapHaven of other foster pets PRIOR to taking them into your home as you are being evaluated based on the home as it is seen when visited by our representative doing the Home Visit.

NOTE: It is our Strongest Recommendation that there be no new pets added to the family during the time of fostering in order to allow the new rescue to adjust to the family and complete his/her recovery and rehabilitation, and for the family to adjust to the rescue. However, if taking-in an additional furbaby is being considered, then you will need to contact PapHaven PRIOR to doing so, as approval to foster is based upon the home as we found it during the Home Visit.

Please remember, we do not support the buying of Papillons from puppy millers or other sub- standard kennels as it only perpetuates the process of Paps and other companion pets being bred and kept in sub-standard conditions in order to meet the demand of buyers.
