Why You Re Important

Donor Liaison Admin Volunteer

Why you’re important

Every 20 minutes someone finds out they have blood cancer. For many, a transplant is their only chance or a cure. At Anthony Nolan, we give them that chance. We match incredible individuals willing to donate their blood stem cells or bone marrow to people in desperate need of a transplant.

For most donors, Donor Liaison is the first team they have contact with at Anthony Nolan. The team makes sure that donors are eligible to join the Anthony Nolan register and gets in touch with donors whose tissue type needs further analysis.

As an admin volunteer you will be proving valuable support to our Donor Liaison team to keep them organised and on-track. Whether it’s collating letters or maintaining our database you will be helping the team to support our donors.
