Terms:
This dog is not being sold under co-ownership terms. Payment in full must be made prior to the buyer taking ownership of the dog or the dog being shipped. Final payment is in cash or money order. A deposit of $500 will reserve a puppy which will then be applied to the full price of the pup. If a puppy of the desired gender/color is not produced, the deposit will be promptly returned in full.
Our puppies fly out of the Springfield, Missouri (SGF) airport on a date specified by the seller and shall go to their new homes on or after the 56th day of life (8 weeks) per Missouri state law. Shipping charges are $375. Any special accommodations (change of airport, direct flights, flying out at different times or dates, etc.) may incur additional charges.

When/if the puppy is registered with AKC the dog’s name will begin with the word, “Katahdin” or, “Katahdin’s.”
1 Health:
This puppy is guaranteed to have been vaccinated, dewormed and given a clean bill of health by a Veterinarian prior to sale. The seller will not be responsible for the cost of any medications or veterinary bills for any reason after the puppy has been transferred to the buyer.
Buyer’s Responsibility:
The buyer agrees to take good care of this dog, feed and house the dog properly and maintain all necessary vaccinations. The dog’s outdoor area will be fenced in and secure, or acceptable provisions will be made to assure the dog is safe any time he/she is outdoors. Buyer agrees to give the dog proper physical and emotional care and welfare. If the dog is found to be neglected, abused or allowed to live in poor health or poor conditions the seller has all rights to repossession of this dog with no refund to the buyer. The death, injury or loss of said dog due to theft, carelessness, recklessness, abuse, neglect, heat stroke or accident will not entitle the buyer to any compensation from the seller.
This dog is warranted only for the purpose of being a companion animal, not for any other purpose or reasons. No warranty is given to the buyer for any special purpose or function of this dog. This dog is not to be used for any illegal or immoral activities and is not to be used for any type of puppy mill, dog farm or other mass producing operation.
Buyer agrees not to sell this dog to any retail company or establishment. Any changes to this contract must be in writing and signed by both parties. This contract is legal and may be enforced by legal means at the buyer’s expense and all disputes must be settled in the state of Missouri.
The AKC registration application will be provided to or shipped to the buyer along with the health and shot records for this dog within 7 days of sale date unless otherwise noted.
This is the entire agreement (2 pages) between the parties and is valid and agreed to by all parties. All parties have read and understood and agreed to this contract in full by signing below.
