The presentation will cover the following aspect of gifted education: (Check all that apply.)

☐Nature & Needs (basic terminology, models of Gifted, characteristics of underrepresentation, understands need for programs and environment to serve the needs of gifted students)

☐ Identification & Assessment (use of and how to interpret qualitative and quantitative data, understands how to provide equal access to all gifted & talented students)

☐ Social & Emotional Needs (address characteristics related to gifted students, but are unrelated to content. i.e. Motivation and Underachievement)

☐ Creativity & Instructional Strategies (supports creativity, creative thinking, and/or creative problem solving. Includes a curriculum and instruction model that asks students to solve real world problems by using research, decision making, creative and critical thinking and other 21st century skills.)

☐ Differentiated Curriculum (offers ways to differentiate the regular curriculum to specifically meet the needs of the gifted students. May include, but not limited to strategies for Twice Exceptional learners.)

☐ Subject Specific – fine arts, leadership, etc (Other course that do not fit in those listed above – fine arts, performing arts, leadership, etc…)
