★What is Vestry Basics 101? This conference is designed to present essential information and orient people currently serving on a vestry or bishop’s committee to the expectations of serving and the unique role they play in their church.

★Topics & Presenters Workshops on Leadership, Roles & Responsibilities, Governance, Finance, Administration, and Stewardship will be featured in the unique context of vestries. In addition there will be several Open Forums. Presenters include: Mary MacGregor - Canon for Leadership and Evangelism Bob Schorr - Manager of Church Plants and Strategic Development, former Jr. Warden Dave Bollinger - current Business Manager and member of Good Shepherd, Tomball, Congregational Coach, former member of the Executive Board, and retired energy executive

★Who Should Attend While attendance is open to anyone currently serving on a Vestry/Bishop’s Committee, first year Vestry and Bishop’s Committee members are strongly encouraged to attend as are clergy. To take full advantage of the diverse topics and forums we suggest that as many member of the vestry/bishop’s committee attend as possible.

★Location and Date Saturday, March 21, St. Francis Church, Tyler, Texas

★Cost The cost is $20 per person for both lay and clergy. This includes continental breakfast, lunch, beverages, any resources and printed materials. VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover Card are accepted via online registration. Payments are processed through PayPal. ★Registration Advance registration is required. To guarantee meals and materials, registration must be received no later than the Wednesday immediately prior to the conference.
