Magelis XBT G is a Simply Smart* product, compliments of Telemecanique.

Telemecanique Magelis XBT G graphic terminals offer an optimised interface solution for control system operation. They feature an onboard Ethernet connection, a multipoint link for simultaneous connection to Uni-Telway, Modbus, Modbus TCP/IP, giving these HMIs a high level of communication capability. Multimedia voice-data-image data is managed at all levels. An external data carrier in the form of a compact flash card stores production and backup data for the applications. Magelis XBT G graphic terminals come with a monochrome or colour touchscreen in a range of sizes from 5 to 12 inches.

The terminal is configured with Telemecanique's VijeoDesigner VJD SPUL software, which operates under Windows. This user-friendly program has multiple configurable windows, making project development quick and easy. A number of tools are available, including a browser, library of animated graphic objects, display of on-line help, error reports, object properties and variables list. VijeoDesigner VJD SPUL also processes information in the XBT G terminal using scripts written in Java. Many advanced functions are available to enhance the speed and reliability of data processing: multi-language (up to 20 languages) and multi-window management with popup windows, numerous character sets (Latin, Chinese, Japanese, Cyrillic), alarm or trend logging, etc. To facilitate connection to other control system devices, all screens in the Magelis XBT G range have an identical compact housing. They also offer a wide variety of connection options on the side of the housing: a compact flash memory card slot, audio output terminal, RJ45 connector for Ethernet connection, etc.
