______Pembroke Rotary Club Chronicle TODAY’S PROGRAMME: Shaun Goater – intro Barbara Edwards VOLUME 28 NUMBER 30 FEBRUARY 12, 2009 Now that we have fed “The Goat”, Barbara Edwards provided a biography of Mr. Goater, not news to most in ______attendance. Google, as always a valuable source of information, provided the highlights of Mr. Goater’s young life and circumstances around his introduction to professional football in England. On Duty: John Kessaram & Mat Macdonald Attendance: 27 of 38 (71%) Mr. Goater started off by complimenting Barbara on her tenacity in securing him to speak at breakfast. Just like a great defender, she marked him and would not leave him alone until she succeeded!
