FOR STAFF MEMBERS/TEACHERS: - Teachers, please remember that the duty day begins at 7:30 a.m. Please sign in by this time. Failure to do so will be noted. - Please make sure you are informing an administrator AND the timekeeper when you leave campus for the day. Also, you MUST sign out in the logbook next to Ms. Jo if you leave campus during the day. Failure to do so may result in you receiving a letter of concern for unauthorized absence. - Teachers, please assist our staff and JJ Janitorial in ensuring that NO green waste, cardboard, metal, tiles of any sort, or wood is placed in your trashcans or in trash bags for disposal to the trash bins. If you need to dispose of cardboard, please place the CRUSHED cardboard outside your classroom at the end of the school day so that JJ Janitorial can pick it up and dispose of it properly. Pacific Waste Systems will not empty the trash bins if those items are found in the dumpster. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated! - Please don't forget to input & update student attendance via Powerschool. - Teachers, please continue to monitor students leaving your classes by the issuing of hall passes. In addition, please report students to the office for carrying permanent markers, especially the big ones. This is a 3-day suspension if the markers are not for a class project. - The Annual Language Arts Conference will be on November 5, 2011. Register by Nov. 2. Perez Principal ● The SSHS Student Store & Internet Cafe is open every lunch from 11:50am - 12:15pm in Rm. 302. ● Sanctuaries, Incorporated AmeriCorps Members are providing Mentoring and Assisting With Homework on Tuesdays from 4:30-5:30 and Thursdays from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Astumbo Senior center in Astumbo, Dededo. ● Tutoring is available for all GCC College Access Grant students on Monday and Thursday from 11:30 - 1:00 pm in Room 117B in the library. ● The CACGP (Guam Community College College Access Challenge Grant Program) tutor schedule is posted on the school website (simonsanchez.org). A few minor changes were made. Please feel free to contact their office @ 735-5565 or email [email protected] for any questions or additional information. ● UOG Americorp is offering tutoring sessions in room 117B from 10:00am- 4:00pm. ● SENIOR CLASS Fundraisers: Nov. 5: Car wash @ Para Oceana Bldg (Bank of Guam Harmon) 8am-4pm.
