Daily Admittance: Day Pass - $3.00 Students - $2.00 Children Under 5 - FREE

Tournament Structure:
The structure for the tournament will be a single round robin format with two- games to 25. Teams will earn 1 point for each game they win. Tournament games go to 25 points, but you must win by 2, and there are no caps. The top 2 teams in each pool will advance to the semi-finals and the semi winners will play in the finals. All play-off matches will be best-of-3 with the tie-breaker going to 15 points & you must win by 2 with no cap. Medallions will be awarded to the top two teams. A banner will also be awarded to the winning team.
Tournament Draw: Will send at a later date
Entry Fee: The entry fee for this year’s tournament is $175.00 per team. Please make your cheques payable to Picture Butte High School
Officials: Referees will be PBHS alumni and/or trained adults. This year we will only have one referee / court.
Linesmen: Schools must provide a knowledgeable linesperson for each game they play. Local Rules:
Coaches are responsible for the supervision of their players and are asked to relay the following rules to them.
1) Students are not to leave any valuables in the change rooms, as change room will be shared. 2) Coaches are to ensure that the change room is left in the same condition as they were when they arrived. 3) You will need to supply your own warm up balls. 4) Teams are to warm up in the gym only, there are to be no balls in the change rooms or the hallways/foyer area.
Tie Breaking Procedure:
If two teams or more teams are tied, the following criteria will be applied in order:
a) The team having the best ratio of won/lost games, considering only games between the tied teams will be ranked higher. b) The team having the best ratio of won/lost games, considering all matches of the round, will be ranked higher. c) The team having the best ratio of points for/against, considering only games between the tied teams will be ranked higher. d) The team having the best ratio of points for/against, considering all matches of the round, will be ranked higher.
Awards: Medallions will be awarded to the 1st and 2nd place finishers in both the boys and girls draw. A banner will be awarded to the champions.
Concession: There will be a school run concession open to the players and spectators.
Coaches Room: There will be a coaches room with food prepared by parents and coaches of the PBHS players.
