GERMANY TRIP MEETING A meeting for all those going to Germany in July has been scheduled for Saturday morning, June 10th. We will meet at 10:00 AM to discuss the trip, speak about important items to pack, and answer any questions you may have. If you are unable to attend, please speak to Pastor at your earliest convenience. Thanks!

SPECIAL VOTERS' MEETING A special meeting of the voters has been called for Sunday, June 11th following the worship service. It will be brief and will concern moving forward with the bid for the church elevator from 2nd Floor and Moore out of Owatonna. All voters are kindly asked to attend so that we may move forward with the project.

YOUTH EVENT: LUTHERAN YOUTH DAY AT VALLEYFAIR Pastor is inviting interested youth to sign up on the bulletin board if they would like to attend Lutheran Youth Day at Valleyfair. The date is Monday, June 12th. We will meet at church at 8:30 AM. The cost is $26.75 per person. Food purchased in the park will be extra; however, if you would like to bring a bag lunch to eat in the parking lot, you are welcome and encouraged to do so. The regular rate for Valleyfair admissions is $53 per person. So this is a dramatic reduction in cost. If the cost is prohibitive to you and you would still like to attend, please speak privately to Pastor Sorenson. (OVER) NEW MEMBERS: THE KIRCHNER FAMILY We welcome into our Hay Creek family: Mark, Kandi, William, and Sarah Kirchner. They come to us from St. John's Lutheran Church in Red Wing. Mark works at REM River Valley providing care for vulnerable adults. Kandi works as a special education para-professional for the Red Wing Public Schools. William has really enjoyed being involved with the choir at Hay Creek and Sarah has joined the 5th/6th grade confirmation class. We welcome the Kirchner family and are delighted to have them in our fellowship. We are blessed to have them as church members and renters of the teacherage.

CATECHISM REVIEW The Seventh Commandment "You shall not steal." What does this mean? We should fear and love God so that we do not take our neighbor's money or possessions, or get them in any dishonest way, but help him to improve and protect his possessions and income.
