MINUTES OF ECAA COUNCIL MEETING HELD AT MARGARETTING VILLAGE HALL, WANTZ ROAD, MARGARETTING ON WEDNESDAY 3rd JANUARY 2018.

03/18 Minutes of last Meeting 01/11/17 having been circulated were taken as read. 104/17(m) to read HDSA (not HNA). With this amendment, proposed by M Pearce (Vice Chairman), seconded Mrs M Saville (Direct), Minutes accepted by the Meeting.

04/18 Matters Arising from Minutes of last Meeting: (a) 103/17(a) Date Bars issue resolved. (b) 103/17(b) Information passed to EGAC but no reply received. (c) 105/17(g) Deben query completed. (d) 105/17(n) Query regarding Level 1 Coaching Course. See Correspondence (j). (e) 106/17(b) Contact from CTR to Pilgrim not yet made. (f) 109/17(e) ECAA FITA18 2019, juniors may opt to shoot Triple faces.

05/18 Chairman’s Remarks: Happy New Year to all. Nominations for awards to be presented at the AGM are coming in slowly. Please contact clubs and anyone else and encourage people to come to the AGM.

06/18 Correspondence: (a) Entry forms for Longbow League, County Indoor, County Target Championships, Rayleigh Indoor. (b) AGM information and Nomination Forms sent to all clubs. (c) Coach Renewal enquiry passed to Cliff Tricker. (d) Abbey supplied update on ground. No changes yet. (e) Dave and Sheila Wiltshire do not have ‘Coach’ on their AGB cards. Forwarded to Cliff Tricker. (f) Abbey updated Constitution. (g) Change of Membership Secretary for Abbey – [email protected] (h) Trinity School have archery equipment for sale. Details forwarded to Clubs. (i) Enquiry regarding engraving of County trophies replied from Chair. (j) Level 1 Course to be held in Suffolk. Details forwarded to Clubs. (k) Broxhill/HDSA Constitution.

07/18 County Calendar 2018–2019: (a) Mayflower WA18 & H2H 21st January 2018 will not take place. (b) Ken Gray Tournament moved to Saturday 3rd February 2018.

08/18 Forthcoming ECAA AGM Saturday 17th February 2018: Will commence at 2pm. Officers who wish the Secretary to photocopy their reports must have them to her no later than 1st February.

09/18 Any Other Business: (a) Query from SRO clarified by Meeting. (b) Highest Compound Award from WA1440 been refurbished and handed over to Paul Clark for Daisy. (c) Query from Clout RO clarified by Meeting. (d) Proposals from AGB are not rule changes. New Rule Book will be out in April.

Being no other business, the Meeting closed at 8.25 with thanks to all for attending.
