The “Finish Ticket Fall Tour” (#FTFT) gets underway September 28th at St. Louis, MO’s Firebird and then travels through November (see attached itinerary). Finish Ticket is now traveling the US alongside label mates Fitz and the Tantrums, with shows slated through late June, including a stop tomorrow night at New York City’s Terminal 5. The Bay Area-based band has spent much of the past year on the road, a remarkable run marked by headline dates, college performances, a co-headline spot on Live Nation’s “Ones To Watch” music discovery tour, and a well received stint supporting Fueled By Ramen recording group twenty one pilots’ blockbuster “BLURRYFACE TOUR.” Other live highlights include jam-packed festival sets at gatherings like the past weekend’s Firefly Music Festival, Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, Life Is Beautiful, and Live 105’s BFD.
Finish Ticket made their label debut with last year’s EP, “WHEN NIGHT BECOMES DAY.” Recorded and produced in the San Francisco Bay Area and mixed by multiple GRAMMY® Award nominee Mark Needham (The Killers, Imagine Dragons), the EP includes the single, “Color,” now top 25 and climbing at Alternative radio outlets nationwide. In addition, the track’s ultra vivid companion video is streaming now at the official Finish Ticket YouTube channel.
Hailed by Paste as “The Best of What’s Next,” Finish Ticket has earned accolades and a loyal fan following for their spirited brand of pop, rock, and contemporary indie. Founded by fraternal twins Brendan and Michael Hoye alongside childhood friend AlexDiDonato, the Bay Area-based band truly came together with the addition of a second set of brothers, Gabe and Nick Stein. Finish Ticket have already cultivated a rabid fanbase in the Bay Area by playing with the likes of Ed Sheeran and headlining venues such as at The Fillmore. Produced by Rilo Kiley’s Pierre de Reeder (Vampire Weekend, She & Him, Ben Gibbard), their debut album, “TEARS YOU APART,” was released independently in 2010 and caught the ear of Elektra who re-released the album in 2013.
