GREATER SAN ANTONIO AREA ROAD AND TRACK EVENT SCHEDULE Walking Opportunities (as of May 1, 2015)

Synopsis: Events listed focus only within San Antonio area. Many are competitive runs or run/walks but some are just charity walks. A few trail runs and track events are posted; but no triathlons nor duathlons. Many school events and adventure races are also NOT listed. A few events are an easy day trip to Austin, Corpus, and further locations but only if those events are significant and pertain to walking or run/walk. Events are normally weekend events, occurring in the morning unless listed differently.

* We are NOT posting “color” runs/walks where colorized powder, paintball pellets, or liquid is sprayed. Nor are we highlighting zombie, muddy, virtual, or obstacle events.

* While this list was compiled from many paper and online directories, it is NOT meant to be a complete listing. Please research posted websites and make phone calls to get up-to-date information since events change and are occasionally canceled.
