Interpreter/Translator, SOS Interpreting LTD, New York, NY 2003 Obtained secret clearance to work with the U.S. Army in Operation Iraqi Freedom.  Translation of various documents.  Questioning detainees to find opponents to the Coalition Forces.  Gathering intelligence to provide security to U.S. troops and the Iraqi people.

Software Engineer, Abbott Laboratories, Morgan Hill, CA 2000 - 2002 Implemented and upgraded embedded Plum A+ infusion pump and host software, plus added a new feature that would enable programming a group of pumps (cloning).  Ensured accuracy, consistency and security of code by developing embedded system software.  Developed market-ready, error-free product by resolving 200 bugs and adding many new features before the Qualification Readiness Review (QRR).  Enhanced host simulation software on Windows NT using Visual C++.  Designed software using Rhapsody tools utilizing UML.  Conducted design review meetings and code walk through modifications with QA Engineer and software team members.  Documented software modifications including UML diagrams to be archived in the company’s library for FDA audits.

Engineering Co-op, Siemens AG, Medical Engineering, Germany 1999 Researched and developed encryption algorithm to transmit password securely over the Internet.  Created user interface window using Java, Java Script and HTML.  Developed application in C++ using Visual C++.  Created sockets that opened a pipe between file system and the application.  Prepared and presented a technical report.
