About Chandling International
Chandling International is one of the oldest and larger ship chandlers. Operating in the principal ports of South Africa viz: Durban , Cape Town and Richards Bay. We have a wealth of experience and are well poised to fulfil most requirements from the commercial shipping and cruise industries.
This 2004/5 cruise season we have supplied the following vessels that have called to South Africa :

This vessel was on a 5-month South African/Indian Ocean island schedule with Durban the home port. Over the years we have also supplied the:

Chandling is an affiliate company of the largest meat distributor in our province, Chester Wholesale Meat whos freezer rooms are EU rated. All cuts (Beef / Lamb / Pork / Poultry) are available from Southern African, Australian, New Zealand and South American origin fully imported directly by ourselves.
Apart from provision supplies (fresh/frozen/dry/liquor) we are also geared to supply technical stores, and, clear through customs/collect and deliver any ship spares on your behalf at no extra charge bar landing costs.

Services at Chandling International
Chandling International has a massive warehousing capacity for its stores, carrying more than 4,000 different types of items catering for all circumstances and demands, whether it be American cigarettes, tools or fine cognac. Services are offered by dedicated and experienced staff of 80, every day of the year, with particular attention being given to ensuring that equal facilities are available over weekends and holidays, when access to other service providers is frequently limited.
Our service comes with the reliability of our transport department, with 6 refridgerated seven ton capacity trucks, 2 six ton unrefrigerated / closed and 2 open flat beds five ton capacity you can be rest assured your orders will be delivered on time.
We also have an efficient in-house clearing and forwarding division, customs clearing of all goods/spare parts received, and also spares/goods dispatched to foreign destinations at minimum costs. We also supply vessels and oil rigs off port limits by using either a helicopter or launch.
Our Sales Representatives are fluent in a great many languages -- English, German, Norwegian, Dutch, French, Spanish, Italian, Greek, Russian, Japanese, Bulgarian, Hindi - - a definite asset to all our clients!
