KEYBOARDING SKILLS (FREE INTERNET SITES)
I am providing a list of Internet sites that provide free keyboarding programs. Learning to type by touch, (without looking at the keys) is extremely helpful when working on the Internet and preparing documents. Many web pages have links to various other sites. I do not endorse any sites, and am only suggesting the primary sites on this document, as a tool to help in the development of proper keyboarding skills, and as a supplemental tool to increase speed and accuracy. The more practice a person applies to keyboarding skills, the better those skills become. This is a working document.

The site asks for an e-mail account, because if the student forgets their password, you can request that it be e-mailed to your address account. It is your decision as a parent as to whether or not you want to open an account for your child, and if you want to use your own e-mail address.

There are a variety of level breakdowns. These games are good supplemental tools to practice your keyboarding however, some games may be frustrating because you need to be able to know where the keys are to beat the clock on some games.
