Editor and part author of 5 Books on Medical Microbiology, and author or co-author of some 300 papers, letters, chapters, leading articles etc on aspects of infection, clinical and fundamental microbiology and antibiotic resistance mechanisms and epidemiology. Publications on the flora of St Thomas’ Hospital and on terrestrial orchids of Cyprus and of Andalucia.
