The Organisation:

Durham Police are at the cutting edge of technology focused on a large enterprise level typescript development - using Aurelia and web pack at present. This includes lots of different html5 controls and other languages / frameworks (SignalR, VIS.JS, NODE.JS etc.). We use Microsoft TFS to manage the development and have a large number of ASP.NET MVC apps we will be migrating, and have started embedding Microsoft BI in our application stack. We use the latest versions of all software and are on several TAP (technical adoption programmes) – early look at new versions before anyone. We have been asked by Rob Eisenberg to showcase Aurelia because ‘Our application just looks so good and works so well’. We have some exceptional developers that can help someone on their journey or give someone what they need to progress. We are taking on people who have a passion for one of the below roles and no experience is necessary.

We have had an exceptional relationship with the Universities in the area and currently employ 7 staff who originated from this route who came in as placement students or interns and have a track record of developing people to be the best in the business.

The Roles:  Position 1 - Developer (Web, Integration or full) – This includes c#, .net, Aurelia, ASP.NET, SharePoint, Umbraco / other CMS, MMVM, JavaScript frameworks (vis.js, node.js etc.), SSIS – other Jscript frameworks welcome (Angular, React etc.)  Position 2 - Microsoft CRM 2013+ – Processes, Security, Powershell, Adminsitration  Position 3 - Business Analyst / Project Manager – Team Foundation Server, SCRUM / CMMI, BDD, TDD, Prince2, MSP  Position 4 - Performance Analyst – Microsoft BI stack, Office365, SharePoint, SSRS, PowerPivot, OLAP etc. – other performance tools useful Qliksense etc. To Apply:
