For your name to appear on the ballot, you must obtain 25 non-duplicate signatures from residents in the hall you wish to represent. Please use the attached form and submit these signatures with this filing form. All signatures will be verified by the Electoral Commission before your name appears on the ballot. Also, please keep the attached white pages at the back of this packet, since they contain some important information such as campaign rules. Forms are due to the Residence Director of your hall by 5:00pm on Wednesday, September 1st. The election will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2010. If you are elected, you will be expected to attend the Conference of University Residence Halls (CURH) in Sunday, September 12, 2010 as well as all additional training sessions.

Job Description: An RHA Senator shall attend the Senate and Executive Board meetings of their local hall government and Senate meetings of the Residence Hall Association. This meeting occurs every Wednesday at 5:00 PM. Senators work together to plan and organize events for the UNL Residence Hall Community. Senators are required to serve on least one Residence Hall Association Committee, which plan and execute various activities. Upon election, you preference which committees you would like to serve.
