Other Workshop Information

Evening Social Gathering – A very popular networking activity over the last several years at the workshop has been the Evening Social Function. We are planning a special visit to the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History. Further information on this activity will be provided in a later workshop announcement. Webinar Option – For those who may not be able to attend the workshop this year, we will offer a Webinar option. The Webinar will be held daily throughout the workshop from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm MDT. 2014 ASP Workshop Hotel Albuquerque, Albuquerque, NM Location: Old Town Albuquerque, New Mexico was founded by Governor Francisco Cuervo y Valdez in 1706 and was constructed around a central plaza. Hotel Reservations: A block of rooms is being held at the Hotel Albuquerque for 2014 ASP Workshop participants and will be available until August 10, 2014. The government per diem rate of $83.00 per night will apply for those attending the workshop. All attendees are responsible for making their own hotel reservations by calling the hotel directly at (505) 222-8760 or (800) 237-2133. A deposit or confirmation by credit card is required, and there is a 24-hour cancellation policy. Please reference the “ASP Workshop” when making reservations to receive the workshop room rate. The Hotel Albuquerque is offering the same rates for the two days before and after the workshop for those of you who want extra time to enjoy the natural beauty and cultural diversity of this area. The hotel room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes in effect at the time of check in. In order for government employees to receive the government per diem rate AND the exemption from the room tax, you will need to present your government identification or government credit card at check in. You are encouraged to make your travel reservations early. Exhibitor Registration

Exhibiting at the 2014 ASP Workshop is an excellent opportunity for companies to reach the DOE community. The workshop traditionally draws 110–140 participants from a variety of DOE sites nationwide. Technical sessions, auditor workshops, and a variety of training sessions are planned for Monday through Thursday. The main session and the keynote luncheon will be held on Tuesday, September 16, the exhibit setup starts at 9:00 am on Monday, and the Vendor Exhibition is planned as follows:

Monday, September 15, 2014 9:00 am — 5:00 pm Tuesday, September 16, 2014 8:00 am — 5:00 pm Wednesday, September 17, 2014 8:00 am — 5:00 pm Thursday, September 18, 2014 8:00 am — 12:00 noon

Booth teardown can begin after 5:00 pm on Wednesday, September 17, if desired, and it should be complete by 2:00 pm on Thursday. By registering, vendors agree to maintain their exhibit until at least 5:00 pm on Wednesday, September 17, 2014.

Each exhibit area includes a 10-foot-wide by 8.5-feet-deep area, a 6-foot-wide skirted display table, two chairs, and a wastebasket.

There is no fee for setting up an exhibit at ASP Workshops.
