#1 Your image must be colored on graph paper and include at least:
1 Horizontal Line labeled A 1 Vertical Line labeled J 2 Lines written in slope intercept form labeled C and D 2 Lines written in Point-Slope Form labeled E and F 2 Lines written in Standard Form labeled G and H 2 Lines written in Function Notation labeled I and J 1 Find the midpoint of the line labeled K
#2 On a separate piece of paper you must type the equations. Tell me what type of equation, the letter that is assigned to that equation, the work (by hand or typed), and then the final equation. To get Equation Editor in Word: tools, customize, commands, all commands, scroll to find “insert equation,” drag icon to toolbar
#3 On the same piece of paper as your typed equations, include a typed paragraph describing how your image relates to you. Make it personal and specific.
Grading You will be graded on the mathematical accuracy of your written equations, the neatness of your graph, creativity, and overall presentation. Make sure your name is on both pieces of paper. Do not staple your papers together. Name:______Date:______Algebra 1 Graphing Project 7 5 3 1 Included and Included and Included but Included but correct. Labeled correct but slightly incorrect. I decided to graph a penguin because I’ve always loved penguins ever since I was little! I don’t remember why I liked them so much, but when I was little my grandparents would take my sister and I to the Cape May County Zoo and I would always run over to the penguins. Then every year my grandparents gave me a stuffed penguin for my birthday. And I still today have all 8 penguins in my bedroom!
