Dear Contestant and Parent:

The members of the King George Fall Festival Pageant invite you to compete for the title of 2015 King George Fall Festival Wee Baby Miss/ Baby Miss/ Little Miss/ Tiny Miss/ Young Miss/Pre-Teen Miss.

Age Groups:

Wee Baby Miss Fall Festival Queen 0-11 months

Baby Miss Fall Festival Queen 1-2 ½ years

Little Miss Fall Festival Queen 2 years 7 months-4 years

Tiny Miss Fall Festival Queen 5-7 years

Young Miss Fall Festival Queen 8-9 years

Pre-Teen Miss Fall Festival Queen 10-12 years

The age of the contestant is based on the age the contestant is on the day of the Fall Festival parade on October 10, 2015.

All contestants must be a resident of King George County and have never been married, nor have a child. The contestant must not be serving as Queen of any other pageant system that would interfere with the full participation of the King George Fall Festival. The contestant must be of good moral character and must always conduct herself in a lady-like manner. The contestant must be a King George resident, and readily available for activities. Our Queens must be available to ride in the parade Saturday October 10th.

The contest is scheduled for Saturday, October 3rd time TBD at the King George High School Auditorium located 10100 Foxes Way King George, Va 22485. Please complete and return the entry form with your $25.00 entry fee to 8115 Kings Highway King George, Va 22485.

Attire should be formal. Girls 0-9 may wear a short or long gown (Does not have to be a pageant gown, can be a nice Sunday best dress). Pre-Teen division should wear a short or long gown flattering to them. Contestants above will be judged on appearance, beauty, personality and projection on stage. A chaperone may go on stage with younger contestants if needed. All contestants will be asked an onstage question appropriate to their age group. This pageant is judged on Natural Beauty. “Light” makeup is allowed for contestants 5-12 years old. We will have a separate parents meeting for the younger girls, and also one practice for them.

Please understand that King George High School will not be responsible for the loss of any personal belongings nor for any accidents or illnesses that may occur while you are at the high school.

We will have a parents meeting September 2nd at 6 p.m. in the King George High School Auditorium. All applications and pictures due by September 9th. If you have any questions or need more information, please feel free to contact a director at the numbers listed below.

Rules and Regulations

King George Fall Festival Little/Tiny/Young/ Pre-Teen Miss Pageant Rules and Regulations 1. Contestants must be at least the minimum age of their age group by October 10, 2015.

2. Contestants must be a King George resident, and represent their home county.

3. Anything lost or stolen during pageant practices or events is not the responsibility of the

pageant directors or the King George Fall Festival.

4. All queens are required to ride with the Queen’s Court during the parade on Saturday October

10th, 2015. Exceptions must be brought to the Queen’s Committee prior to the parade for

approval.

5. Entrant agrees that the time, manner, and method of judging shall be solely within the discretion

of the Queen Pageant Committee and the decision of the judges is final.

6. Violation of any rule or regulation of the King George Fall Festival Pageant may result in the

removal of the contestant. If the violation is not discovered until after the pageant, the

contestant will relinquish all awarded prizes.

pageant gown, can be a nice Sunday best dress). Pre-Teen division should wear a short or long

gown flattering to them. Contestants above will be judged on appearance, beauty, personality and projection on stage. A chaperone may go on stage with younger contestants if needed. All

contestants will be asked an onstage question appropriate to their age group.

8. Please note: This is NOT a toddlers in tiaras- type pageant. Contestants are encouraged to show

off their natural beauty, smile, confidence, poise, and stage presence!

9. MAKE-UP: This pageant is judged on Natural Beauty. “Light” makeup is allowed for

contestants 5-12 years old. THIS IS NOT A GLITZ PAGEANT.

10. One group will follow the other; the time it takes each child to walk on stage will determine

what time the next group starts.

11. Contestants and all accompanying members or guests will conduct themselves in a proper

manner at ALL times. Any display of uncooperative or unsportsmanlike behavior will result in

disqualification of the contestant.

12. Contestants must remain on stage until ALL final awards are presented.

13. If we do not have enough contestants, Little Miss will be ages 2-5 and Tiny Miss ages 6-9, to

include more contestants.
