Swimming Carnival

SWIMMING CARNIVAL Dear Parents

As part of the PD/H/PE and Sport Curriculum, your child will be participating in the Swimming Carnival on Monday the 6th February 2017 commencing at 8.30am and concluding at 2.30pm at Oasis Swimming Pools, Club Banora. Students who need to catch a bus home will be escorted back to the school. The cost is $4.00 per student, payable on entry at the pool. Hot food, snacks and drinks will be available to purchase from the pool canteen.

The Swimming Carnival is a compulsory part of the school program. All students are to meet at the pool at 8.25am sharp. If your child does not attend, a note needs to be brought to school the next day explaining the absence.

The excursion will involve structured aquatic activities as the carnival progresses through its program of events.

Your child has also been issued with the safe water entry guidelines (attached). We ask that we discuss this with your child prior to the carnival.

Parents can attend the carnival however there will be a $4 entry cost as per Oasis Pools guidelines.

We look forward to seeing you.
