Hybridoma AMS 9.1 (Murine IgD Igh-C a ) – UCHI 1122
Antigen – Murine IgD haplotype Igh-Ca (Fc portion) (Note: No cross-reactivity with haplotypes Igh-Cb or Igh-Ce has been observed)
Antigen Background – IgD is the major antigen receptor isotype coexpressed with IgM on the surface of most peripheral B cells.
Antibody Class – Mouse IgG2b
Species recognized – Mouse
Demonstrated Uses – Flow cytometry, immunofluorescence and stimulation of B-cell proliferation
Hybridoma Production: SJL mice were immunized with spleen cells from BALB/c mice and the resultant SJL splenocytes were fused with SP2/0 cells. Recognition of IgD haplotype Igh-Ca was confirmed by FACS analysis.
