General: The Quality Inspector III is responsible for numerous specialized inspection and documentation tasks within an ISO 9001/AS9100 and FAA 14 CFR Part 21 and Part 145 Quality system. General responsibilities will vary within an assigned business unit with primary product support activities for customer flow down requirements, problem resolution and assistance to production personnel.

Requirements:  Ability to interpret drawings to verify conformance of inspection articles and customer requirements.  Experience with measuring instruments such as digital calipers.  Complete familiarity with use of computer and related business software systems.  This position requires standing and you must be willing to work overtime on a regular basis.  This position requires frequent lifting of up to 40 pounds.  Must work at a very fast pace with a large volume of work.  Must be a team player and have the flexibility and willingness to rotate into different areas of the Quality organization and Final Out.  Must have excellent English reading, writing, language and comprehension skills.  Must be very detail oriented and have the ability to create error free inspection records as required.

Training /Education /Certification Requirements:  High School diploma or equivalent required.  Previous FAA Repairman Certificate or A&P Certificate preferred but not required.  Minimum of three years of experience in simple to moderate inspections including dimensional, functional and cosmetic part, component and assembly inspections.  Well rounded background in manufacturing and related quality systems.
