Kenneth A. Nieze, as Head of Strategic Customer Development and Global Sales has spent over 18 years in the logistics industry holding various positions throughout his professional career.

Prior to joining Kuehne & Nagel Management AG, he worked for Celarix Inc. as the Vice President of Operations, establishing the European presence for this progressive Logistics Execution Software Company. Celarix served as a Supply Chain Visibility tool allowing international organizations to have access to their transportation data through a single Internet portal, regardless of the Service Providers or the type of the transportation services.

Prior to that, he served as the Corporate Vice President, Sales & Marketing worldwide in their global headquarters from Basel, Switzerland for the integration activity between Air Express International (AEI) and Danzas.

At Air Express International (AEI), Mr. Nieze was appointed as Director of Sales & Marketing North America and was responsible for the sales and marketing activities in the US from April 1995. Mr. Nieze was promoted to VP Sales & Marketing 1997 where he was responsible for launching a new sales program, incentive plan and introducing Sales Force Automation tools to the company. In 1999, Mr. Nieze relocated to Europe to take oversee the sales & marketing activities. In November 1999, Deutsche Post acquired AEI. Mr. Nieze was responsible for leading the Sales & Marketing integration force. This project was completed 30 days ahead of schedule.

Preceding his move to AEI, Mr. Nieze worked for Fritz Companies (now called UPS Freight Services) in various functions. During his 11 years with Fritz Companies, Mr. Nieze was responsible for establishing the Offshore Expedited program to assist Fortune 1000 US companies improve their logistics activities in Europe and to drive the sales activities of the agency network.

At the beginning of his career, Mr. Nieze was one of the first interns to work in the Internship Program at Fritz Companies that was established in Chicago in 1984. After successfully completing this assignment and training, the company sponsored Mr. Nieze to launch the European program.
