Fall 2009 Corn Drying and Storage & DP Rates

Commercial Corn: Commercial corn is shrunk and dried to 15.0% moisture if sold, applied to contract, or placed on DP (Price Later). Open Storage commercial corn will be shrunk and dried to 14.5% moisture if delivered during the Sep-Nov period. Post harvest delivery of open storage corn will be shrunk and dried to 15.0% moisture. Our shrink factor is 1.4% shrink per point of moisture. Our drying charge is $.04/bu/point. If you request a warehouse receipt for placement under the 9 month loan, the corn will be shrunk and dried to 14.0% moisture. We require that you prepay the 9 month storage and drying charges on WHR issued for the CCC marketing loan.

DP Charges for all Corn: $.14/bu minimum DROP charge, PLUS $.001/bu per day thereafter through September 30, 2010

Open Storage and WHR charges for all Corn: $.15/bu minimum DROP charge, PLUS $.001/bu per day thereafter through September 30, 2010

Fall 2009 Soybean Storage and DP Rates

DP Charges for all Soybeans: $.14/bu minimum DROP charge, PLUS $.001/bu per day thereafter through September 30, 2010

Open Storage and WHR charges for all Soybeans: $.15/bu minimum DROP charge, PLUS $.001/bu per day thereafter through September 30, 2010

Please inform us upon delivery of your grain whether you wish to sell it, apply it to an existing contract, or place it on storage or DP. If you have not told us the disposition of each field within 5 calendar days of delivery, the grain will be placed in open storage and minimum storage charges will apply.
