Priest: Gathered as a parish community, we place our needs before the Lord: Reader: For the leaders of the Church, that all they are and do may reveal Christ..... Lord, hear us Reader: For all people, that we may deepen our friendship with Jesus Christ during this special year ..... Lord, hear us Reader: For all who are preparing for sacraments....those preparing for Baptism, Reconciliation, Communion, Confirmation, Holy Orders, Marriage and the Sacrament of the Sick...that they may come to know Christ more intimately..... Lord, hear us Reader: For all whose relationship with Church has been fractured...that they may know Christ’s love for them..... Lord, hear us Reader: For all who have died – may they share in Christ’s resurrection... Lord, hear us Priest: Gracious God, you hear the prayers of those who call to you: be with us as we break bread in memory of your risen Son and draw us more and more into friendship with Jesus Christ. We ask this through that same Son, Jesus Christ the Lord. Amen
