A RESOLUTION Adjourning the Senate in Honor and Loving Memory of Marilyn G

A RESOLUTION adjourning the Senate in honor and loving memory of Marilyn G. Bornstein. WHEREAS, Marilyn G. Bornstein worked for 20 years as a marriage and family therapist at Jewish Family and Career Services; and WHEREAS, Marilyn G. Bornstein was a faithful member of Congregation Adath Jeshurun and the N.C.J.W.—Louisville Section; and WHEREAS, Marilyn G. Bornstein departed this earthly life on November 25, 2013, leaving her family, friends, and an entire community in solemn mourning; and WHEREAS, Marilyn G. Bornstein was preceded in death by her parents, Lillian and Sol Goldberg, and her brother, Gilbert Goldberg. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Alan Bornstein; her children, Susan (David Fox), Brian (Christie Emler), and Joan; and her grandchildren, Lilli and Melissa Bornstein and Hannah and Brandon Woempner; NOW, THEREFORE, Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:

 Section 1. The Senate expresses its most profound sorrow and proffers its sincerest condolences to the family, friends, and community of Marilyn G. Bornstein.

Section 2. When the Senate adjourns this day, it does so in honor and loving memory of Marilyn G. Bornstein.

Section 3. The Clerk of the Senate is directed to transmit three copies of this Resolution to Dr. Susan Bornstein, 5907 Brittany Valley Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40222.
