August 15th, 2006

Public Folders > JIS REPORTS > JUVENILE > MANAGEMENT > MILESTONE BY ACTUAL & DUE DATE FOR CASES HELD OR DUE DURING CERTAIN TIME FOLDER (This folder contains reports that return information for cases where hearings have been held, or are due to be held.)

 MILESTONE CAN CASES WITH MORE THAN ONE ACTIVE JUDGE  Function: Produces a list of child abuse and neglect cases for a user specified time frame that have more than one judge assigned for a case that is either due, or that was actually held.

 Run monthly to identify cases where more than one judge was assigned. The date range specified for this report should be no more than 31 days and the shorter the period is, the more accurate the result will be.

 Enter correct end date for Judge A and start date for Judge B on CDAPRTY, based on reassignment date of judge.

 MILESTONE HEARINGS WITH NO ACTIVE JUDGE USING DUE DATE PROMPT  Function: Produces a list of child abuse and neglect cases that have hearings due within the user specified time frame, but are missing an active judge assignment.

 Run monthly to identify cases lacking a judge assignment.

 Enter a judge or commissioner who is responsible for hearing the case on CDAPRTY with a correct start date.

 MILESTONE BY JUDGE WITH DUE DATE PROMPT  Function: Produces a list of child abuse and neglect cases with hearings that are due within a user specified time frame, and returns the hearing statuses, i.e., Met, Failed, or Overdue for those cases. Returns above information for all judges and commissioners in a given circuit.

 Run monthly to identify cases with hearings due that appear to be incorrectly or incompletely reported in JIS. Run quarterly before running CAN QUARTERLY HEARINGS REPORT in order to identify all the judges and commissioners who hear CA/N cases during the specified quarter. Public Folders > JIS REPORTS > JUVENILE > MANAGEMENT

 CAN QUARTERLY HEARINGS REPORT

 Function: This report partially fulfills the Court Operating Rule 23.01 quarterly hearings reporting requirement. It provides a list of child abuse and neglect cases with delayed hearings for a user specified judge or commissioner. Information on the required and actual hearing dates, future event schedule and reason for delay can be found on this report.

 Run monthly to identify overdue cases that may require scheduling or simply require docket entry, and to identify cases that are missing delay dockets and reason for delay codes. Run quarterly within 15 days after the end of a quarter and submit to OSCA.
