Say Goodbye to the Post-Holiday Detox

January 2013…/ The post-holiday detox is no more! From May 2013, guests staying at the five-star Skiathos Princess Hotel or Aegean Suites Hotel will have the chance to participate in their NEW Healthy Living Programme. The all-encompassing programme is aimed at guests who want to stay fit or improve their fitness levels, feel healthy and experience the true Mediterranean lifestyle. As well as enjoying a wonderful Greek holiday the overall aim is for guests to leave feeling rejuvenated, energised, fit and healthy.

A programme of daily group activities, all of which will take place on the beautiful island of Skiathos will be available to guests along with workshops focusing on skin and dietary nutrition. Both hotels will also feature a NEW menu of healthy meals that will be available to those taking part in the programme – think fresh Mediterranean salads, smoothies and fruit juices, low fat, low GI, low cholesterol vitamin rich, delicious food.

Guests taking part in the Healthy Living Programme will have the chance to participate in two group fitness activities per day which could include Yoga, Pilates, Canoeing and Core Strengthening, coached runs along the beach, Nature Walks and Herb Hikes. Guests will also have the chance to take part in a beauty workshop to learn about nutrition for the skin and a healthy cooking workshop that will focus on the benefits of the Mediterranean diet.

Available exclusively to guests staying at the Skiathos Princess or Aegean Suites Hotel’s, the week- long Healthy Living Programme is available for a supplement of just €170 (£140*) per person or €35 (£30*) per day if guests prefer to dip in and out on a daily basis.
