ND Academic and Career and Technical Education Scholarships: Please visit the website, https://www.dpi.state.nd.us/scholarship to learn more about the scholarship and to submit your application.
Benson County Farm Bureau Rural Studies Scholarship: Students must be a graduating senior. Preference will be given to individuals who have shown accomplishment in areas of agriculture and leadership. Preference wil also be given to outstanding and well-rounded students who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better. They should be/have been involved in a balance of extracurricular activities and service and demonstrate leadershop ability and potential. Pick up the application in the counselor's office.
Good Samaritan Hospital Association High School Student Scholarship program: Student must be interested in a healthcare occupation. Pick up the application in the counselors office. 2 letters of reference are needed.
Washington Crossing Foundation: For seniors interested in pursuing a career in government service. Scholarships available from $1000 - $7500. For information and application visit their website at www.gwcf.org .
The Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE): is looking for high school seniors to submit well-written essays on freedom of speech an college campuses. Essays should explain how college administrators betray liberty and violate students' constitutional rights at American colleges and universities as documented by FIRE in two short documentaries found at their website. Elk's National Legacy Award. For information and application visit www.elks.org/enf/scholars. ACT or SAT test must taken by December 31 2009. Application deadline is January 8, 2010. Elks National Foundation 2010 Most Valuable Student Scholarship Application. Any high school senior who is a US citizen is eligible. You need not be afiliated with an Elks member. Pick up an application from the high school counselor.
Reuban Guenthner Scholarship: $400 scholarship to a graduating senior who will be graduating in the 2009-10 school year. Applicants must have completed one or more career and technical education courses between 9-12 grade. They must be enrolled in a ND publicpost- secondary institution as full-time student in a career and technical education program of two years or less. Horatio Alger Scholarship: Students must show financial need (Adjusted gross family income of $50,000 or less), involvement in co-curricular and community service activities, exhibited integrity and perseverance in overcoming personal adversity, and have a GPA of at least 2.0. AXA Achievement Scholarship: Go to www.axa-achievement.com. Students must demonstrate ambition and drive, determination to set and reach goals, respect for self and others, and the ability to succeed in college. 52 $10,000 scholarships will be awarded (one in each state plus Puerto Rico and D.C) and 10 of those winners can win an additional $15,000.
North Dakota Rural Water Systems Association Patrick Denne Memorial Scholarship: A $500 scholarship. Students are eligible if he/she receives their water from a member rural water system or is the dependent of someone who receives theri water from a member rural water system and will be enrolled in an accredited institution of higher learning approved by the North Dakota Rural Water Systems Association (NDRWSA). Proof of enrollment will be required prior to issuance of funds. Pick up application from the counselor.

US Bank Scholarship: go to www.usbank.com/studentbanking. Thirthy $1000 scholarships are awarded in a random drawing. No essays or minimum GPA. Program runs October through February
KFC Colonel's Scholar's: A $20,000 scholarship awarded over 4 years ($5000 per year). To qualify, students must be seniors planning on pursuing a bachelor's degree in their state of residence. They must have a minimum GPA of 2.75, be a U.S. resident, and demonstrate financial need. To apply go to www.kfcscholars.org for the application. Applications will be available online.
NDPAMA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the continued education and professional advancement of its members, and to the promotion of aerospace maintenance as a career field for interested young men and women. If two or more applicants are equal in qualifications, an essay, or interview with the applicant may be the deciding factor. In the event of a tie preference will be given to North Dakota residents. The NDPAMA Scholarship recipient will be notified by mail. The scholarship is in the amount of $1000. NOTE: Of the following three American Legion Auxiliary Scholarships, students may qualify for ONLY one of the scholarships. Students who receive one of the scholarships become ineligible for the others.
American Legion Auxiliary Scholarship for non-Traditional Students: Applicant must be a member of the American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary, or Sons of The American Legion and shall have paid dues for the two preceding years and for the calendar year in which application is made. Applicants must be a non-traditional student returning to the classroom after some period of time or a non-traditional student who is just beginning their education at a later point in life. American Legion Auxiliary National President's Scholarship: Applicants will be direct descendants, step-children, or step-grandchildren of U.S. wartime vetrans who served during one or more of the periods of war offically designated as eligibility dates for membership in the American Legion. Applicants must be a senior in high school, be on a voluntary basis in all Units and Departments, complete fifty hours of volunteer service within the community. American Legion Auxiliary Spirit of Youth Scholarship for Junior Members: Candidates shall be/have been a junior member of the American Legion Auxiliary and to have held junior membership in the American Legion Auxiliary for the past three years and must hold a membership card for the current (2009) year. Janice M. Scott Memorial Scholarship: Six $2500 scholarships will be awarded. Applicants will be a U.S. citizen with a 2.5 GPA or higher who is a high school senior who will be enrolled in an accredited four-year college or university full time in the 2009-2010 school year. Applicants will have demonstrated leadership abilities through participating in community services, extra curricular or other activities.

North Dakota Telephone Company Scholarship: Must have local telephone service with NDTC, Based on GPA, class rank & ACT or SAT score. Applicants must be accepted and registered for the 2009 fall term at an accredited college, university or vocational school before funds will be distributed.
NDTC Foundation for Rural Services Scholarship: Applicant must be a graduating senior, receive telecommunication services through NTCA member, be accepted by an accredited school, have at least a "C" (2.0) GPA, express an interest to return to a rural community after graduation, and be sponsored by a contributor to, or supporter of, the Foundation for Rural Services. NDTC Foundation for Rural Education and Development (FRED) Scholarship: 3 different scholarships available. Scholarships will be awarded to an outstanding student who shows the desire to live and work in a rural community after completing their education.
Farm Credit Services of ND: Applicants may be from an actively farming or ranching family OR planning to pursue an agricultural career. Scholarships are awarded when the students show proof of enrollment in college. Must be a ND resident and selection is based on academic record, personal attributes, vocational promise, leadership and financial need.

Gate City Bank Community Scholarship Program: Each applicant must be a high school senior and plan on attending college in the fall following their high school graduation. The Gate City Bank Community Scholarship Program will award forty $1200 scholarships to graduating seniors from high schools in ND and MN. The applicant must attend at least a two-year program at an accredited ND, MN, SD or MT institution of higher learning.

Ross Loibl Memorial Scholarship: Eight $500 scholarships will be awarded to North Dakota high school seniors who plan to attend college in the 2008-2009 academic year. This scholarships available to any graduating senior who has participated in basketball at the varsity level. Awards will be given upon proof of enrollment at an accredited institution of higher learning. Pick up application in the high school office.
Theodore A. Togstad Unit #123 Auxiliary Career Scholarship: For students who desire to pursue a career at a 2 or 4 year college and have the motivation to successfully accomplish goals set. Students will need a letter of recommendation from 2 individuals stating the applicant’s character, personality, motivation, community involvement and participation in school activities. Students will need to enclose a current transcript and a letter written by the applicant stating his/her career plans, school of choice and goals for the future.
American Legion Auxiliary - Dept of ND Parley Nursing Scholarships: Pick up application in the office. Applicant must be a son or daughter, grandson/daughter, or great-grandson/daughter of an American Legion or American Legion Auxiliary Member. Students must also be graduating from a ND high school and plan to attend a ND school of Nursing or you must currently be attending a ND School of Nursing.
