Help  What assistance will the mentee need?

 What resources are needed? o time o information o budget etc.,

 Where and how can resources be accessed?

 Who, apart from their mentor, will help?

 Is cooperation from colleagues, managers or families required?

 What steps will be taken?

 What is the time frame?

 To achieve goals, continued, consistent effort is required. How will motivation be maintained?

 Are there milestones or enabling goals that are part of the project?

 Is approval from the mentee’s manager or the organisation required?

Environment  What factors in the mentee’s: o work, o personal life or o the general environment may support or inhibit the achievement of this goal

 What strategies for building on the positives and minimising the negatives can be planned?

Values  What are the mentee’s core values?

 How does this goal align with the mentee’s core values?

Evidence  How will the mentee know when the goal has been achieved?

 Will a tangible outcome be evident?

 What will they see, hear or feel?
