Note: This is a meeting of the Board of Education public for the purpose of conducting the School District’s business and is not to be considered a public community meeting. There is a time for public participation during the meeting as indicated on the agenda. All cell phones should be turned off during board meetings.

Citizens of the Tri-Valley School District and employees who wish to speak with the Board are requested to keep items presented as brief as possible. Items are limited to five minutes for presentation and five minutes for discussion. Please complete the appropriate form and give it to the Treasurer for proper recognition.

II. Personnel Items:

Certified:

a.) Accept the retirement request of Rebecca Welch, 5/6 teacher at Frazeysburg Intermediate, effective June 1, 2008. Mrs. Welch has 30 years of service with the Tri-Valley School District.

b.) Accept the retirement request of Beverly LeMaster, intervention specialist at Frazeysburg Intermediate, effective June 1, 2008. Mrs. LeMaster has 30 years of teaching, 29 with Tri-Valley Schools.

c.) Accept the retirement request of Andrea Salahub, second grade teacher at Frazeysburg Elementary School, effective at the end of the 2007-08 school year. Ms. Salahub has completed 37 years of service with Tri- Valley Local Schools, all at Frazeysburg Elementary.

d.) Accept the retirement request of William Reed, Vocational Agriculture Instructor at TVHS, effective July 1, 2008. Mr. Reed has 30 years of teaching, 17 of those years with Tri-Valley.

e.) Approve the maternity leave for Juna Garber, 4th grade teacher at Nashport Elementary, to begin on or about May 1, 2008 and continue for the remainder of the 07-08 school year.
