Costumes for Concert

Dear Parent/Carer,

The preparation for our concert is well underway and the excitement is starting to build. There will be an evening performance at 7:00pm on Tuesday 5th September. This will be followed up by a matinee performance at 11.30am on Wednesday 6th September. The final performance is on Thursday 7th September at 7:00pm. Tickets will be available soon at $10 per allocated seat and will be available from Monday 14th August. A separate note with more detailed information has been distributed to families.

Each class has been rehearsing an item through the Dance 2B Fit program that combines dance, singing and drama. Some senior students will have a lead role as comperes of the show. Students from K/6C and K/6A will be joining with other classes. Arrangements for these students will be made individually in consultation with their parents.

There will be some face painting done at school for some classes so please let your teacher know if any of your children have an allergy to such things.

KB Girls : dress or skirt and top (like an orphan), black shoes and white socks. A scrubbing brush. Girls to wear their hair half up and half down. Boys : black, brown or grey pants, white long sleeve shirt, black shoes and white socks.

KM No extra items required.

1S Girls : Black short sleeve t-shirt, black tights, hair in a low pony tail, thongs/slippers Boys : Black short sleeve t-shirt, black or dark coloured shorts, thongs/slippers

1H Girls : Black trousers/shorts/leggings/stockings, black shoes, black t-shirt. Girls to wear their hair in a high pony tail. Boys : Black trousers or shorts, black shoes.

2B Black shoes, socks and long black pants. Girls to wear their hair in a low ponytail.

2/3L Girls : white socks, joggers, scungies, white singlet top. Girls to wear hair in two high pony tails. Boys : white socks, joggers, blue sports shorts, white t-shirt.

3/4D Black shoes, socks and long pants. Girls to wear their hair in a low ponytail.

4L White t-shirt, jeans and white shoes.

5M Girls : long white socks and white t-shirt. Girls will need hair in a low pony tail pinned on top of their head (under wig). Boys : black shorts, long white socks.

6V Girls : black shoes, white socks, white t-shirt. Girls to wear their hair in a high pony tail. Boys : joggers, black pants, white t-shirt. Boys to slick their hair back.

If your child is in the choir they will need to wear their summer school uniform.

Star Struck dancers are performing both of their dances. For “Can’t Stop The Feeling” they will need their fairy bread costume (tights, spotty dress or top/shorts). For “He Lives In You” they will need their black costume (mesh top, tutu, singlet, tights, black shoes and 3 AA batteries). Please bring these in and we will store them here at school.

The students are very excited to perform for you and showcase their skills in the performing arts. Every student will perform in their class item, at least one other group item and the finale.
