ERASMUS MUNDUS – ÁNIMO, ¡CHÉVERE! TEAM
As you already know the first call for the Erasmus Mundus Ánimo, ¡Chévere! scholarships opened on Monday, the 1st of February, 2010 We would like to thank all the members of the partnership for their collaboration making this possible. There are a few academic offers that still have not been added to the application, but we are confident that the missing information will be available for the applicants shortly.
Promotion of the project Now that the call is open we encourage you more than ever to continue with the dissemination of Ánimo, ¡Chévere!. Please promote this scholarship scheme among your colleagues and the rest of the university community and get in contact with local NGO´s and public authorities and inform them about Ánimo, ¡Chévere! to make sure this project reaches potential TG2 and particularly TG3 candidates. Also we would like to ask you to keep us informed about what you are doing (i.e. send us a summary of promotion activities, photos, documents, presentations, press releases, etc.). We will include that information in the News Section of the Ánimo, ¡Chévere! webpage. In this regard we would like to inform you that the flyers and posters of the project are on their way to your universities and you should receive this promotion material soon.
Intranet Some partners have had problems login into the Intranet or even accessing the web site of Ánimo, ¡Chévere!. Sometimes the web has problems to upload properly when you try to open it with Internet Explorer, so we strongly recommend you to use Mozilla Firefox as web browser instead of Internet Explorer (www.mozilla.com/firefox/).
Academic offer Regarding the call, we would like to ask you to consider the possibility of further expanding your Academic Offer to open more positions for post-doctorates and staff. As specified on the Grant Agreement, one of the expected results of Ánimo, ¡Chévere! is to reinforce the teaching and research skills of the partner universities, and for that, the opening of our departments and academic units to young researchers and teachers would be crucial. Also, remember that we should facilitate the mobility flows for administrative staff creating venues for the exchange of highly specialized knowledge and know-how. As an example, you could offer placements at the International Office, the Library of your university, the Student Employment Service, units for risk prevention, research and knowledge transfer, etc. Just as a reminder, you can add and modify your academic offer at any time with the link and login data that we sent you (https://emecw.gis.lu.se/login/). This makes it quite straight forward to open a placement when an interested candidate asks you to do so.
Lump sum management In order to receive the Lump Sum corresponding to your university, please provide us with the Financial Identification Form and Lump Sum Share: Transfer Request if you have not done so yet. Bear in mind that the Financial Identification Form has to be signed and stamped by your bank and your financial manager. Please send us a scanned copy of the document as soon as you have it ready and also send us the original document. For Latin American partners: In the case you wish the University of Granada to manage the Lump Sum corresponding to your university, please only fill in the Lump Sum Managing Authorisation.
