Dear Parents/Guardians:

Emma B. Ward is sponsoring a Fall Festival for its students as a fundraising event. The festival will be open to everyone and will be lots of fun for all ages. There will be games, raffles, and other exciting events. This year, our festival will be on Friday, October 14, from 5:30 to 7:30PM

Two classrooms are joining to create a themed basket of goodies to be included in the raffles.

Your child’s classroom has been chosen for the ______basket. Your child has been asked to bring an item related to this theme for the basket. These items will need to be turned in no later than Friday, September 30, in order to provide enough time to assemble the baskets.

Raffle tickets for the baskets will be sold at the festival. Raffle ticket prices are as follows: 1 ticket for $1.00 6 tickets for $5.00

Tickets will be placed in containers of choice for a chance to win by drawing. Winners will be drawn at the close of the evening between 7:30p.m. and 8:00p.m.. You must be present to win.

During the last hour of school on Friday, October 14, students may purchase game tickets in advance for a cost of $0.25 each or 5 tickets for $1.00.

Our Fall Festival has been a successful fundraiser in the past. Please mark October 14, on your calendar and tell your family, friends, and neighbors about our Fall Festival.
