YOUTH BARN DECK REPAIR ZACKS EAGLE SCOUT PROJECT

Hear ye! Hear ye! Come to the call of thine Senior Patrol Leader, Zackary Stoneburner on October 8th and 15th! For a full days worth of work!

What is this? This is my, Zackary Stoneburner’s Eagle Scout Project. We will be re-decking the youth barn deck at Redland Baptist Church. Please note that the deck is 72 feet long and 15 feet and 9 inches wide, meaning that it is a VERY large deck, and we will be working for most of, if not all day.

Why do I need to sign this? It’s so that I know how many people to plan for. This allows me to plan what we will do for the day more efficiently.

Where is it? What time will this take place? This will take place at Redland Baptist Church, their address is, 6922 Muncaster Mill Rd, Derwood, MD 20855. This will all take place at October 8th and 15th ( the first and second Saturdays in October) from 9AM until we complete what needs to be completed. ( Estimated completion time is around 5-6 PM.)

Should I bring anything? If so, what? Yes! For the first day please bring Leather/working gloves, protective eye wear, crow bars, pick axes, sledge hammers, circular saws ( If we use them, only adults, anyone 18 or over, will use them),cruddy clothing, and a water bottle. For the second day, please bring Leather/working gloves, protective eye wear, power drills and power screw drivers ( Corded or uncorded, just make sure that the screwdriver has a head that can be used on a Torx head screw.), cruddy clothing, and a water bottle. Will food, drink, and restrooms be provided? Yes they will, as well as snacks incase people get hungry while they work.
