The Middle School requests two items from the High School. The High School checks them out to the Middle School’s ILL user (LNMS-ILL).

The High School then sends the items to the Middle School.

When the items arrive at the Middle School, the Middle School librarian receives the items via the Check In, Pending Transits, or Receive Items in Transit wizard.

The Middle School librarian checks out the books to a Middle School patron.

When the patron returns the items and they are checked in at the Middle School, the Route/Transit column displays as ILL.

Scan the items a second time to find out where to send them  audio alert! The second scan changes their status from ILL to INTRANSIT (to the owning library). If you wish to continue circulating these items at the borrowing library, do not scan them a second time. The Middle School then sends the items back to the High School.

When the items arrive at the High School, the High School librarian receives the items via the Check In, Pending Transits, or Receive Items in Transit wizard.
